Our recruiting team visits college campuses throughout Ohio on a regular basis to meet with future graduates to discuss career options and the benefits of joining one of central Ohio’s fastest-growing information technology firms. We regularly reach out to college campuses for Campus Recruiting.
HMB provides a platform for you to grow your career, continue your education, and earn certifications while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Young professionals we hire are fully supported, constantly learning and given opportunities to gain valuable experience with different clients and projects. At HMB you can make your mark and define your own IT consulting career path.
To prepare recent graduates for the transition from college to career, HMB created the Grad Academy. This program is a three-week intensive hands-on experience that includes professional development courses and work on a simulated IT project. You receive IT training in real-world business applications and learn how to put into practice the HMB principles of consulting. IT training is ongoing throughout the year and is also provided through HMB University throughout your career.
Our Grad Academy process is a highly successful tool that gives our IT consultants a common set of base skills that we find important in our business technology firm. We have been successfully following the practice of hiring great people and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. We believe that good, well rounded, technical people with a broad set of base skills can use their knowledge and apply it to any technology or project situation.
Participants of our Grad Academy come to us from a diverse set of schools, curriculum and personal experiences. We believe that the material covered will be interesting and challenging to all of the students attending. We want our students to have a broad understanding of object-oriented development in multiple environments, as well as database, IT consulting and project skills. We have compressed quite a few courses into only three weeks of time. You will need to stay alert to keep on track!
