Is consulting right for me?

How do you know if you are a fit for a consulting environment?
You should have excitement about working on a variety of projects, in multiple environments, constantly learning and taking pride in honing your craft.

How is a corporate technical career different from technical consulting?
In corporate life, you may only work on one product or system and you may not have as much work variety working in different environments and in different industries.

What are some attributes of successful consultants?
Consultants who are flexible, adaptable, like and seek change, enjoy working with new people and constantly learning thrive in this environment.

How is HMB different from other consulting firms?
We are career-minded; our consultants work locally and go home every night with a good overall work and life balance. Long work hours are atypical. Success-minded, highly motivated individuals are a good fit for our company culture.

What are you doing when you are not on working at the client site?
We are receiving technical training, researching a new technology, pursuing a certification, addressing Internal technical needs or assisting with sales or markering efforts with screen mockups or proof concepts.
