Rick Kierner

Rick graduated from the esteemed Miami University in May of 2000 with a degree in Management Information Systems.  After working for a variety of clients throughout central Ohio, Rick joined HMB in July of 2005.  Soon after joining HMB, Rick began design work on our first home-grown packaged software solution, AcceleGrants.  AcceleGrants manages the planning, funding, and payment of educational grants for different States’ Departments of Education.  After successful implementations in Alabama, Ohio, and Rhode Island, Rick has started working in SharePoint to help expand HMB’s service offerings. "Rick is passionate and creative in using technology to solve business problems.  He is a team-player, willing to assist anyone on his project that needs help.  Additionally, he has been a valuable and trusted mentor to several of our recent college graduates", says, Patrick Brennan, HMB partner.

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Rick spent the first 18 years of his life living across the US and tormenting two younger brothers.  He enjoys watching football, golf, and spending time outdoors.  Recently married to  Heather, he and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.  Recent trips have included Aruba, San Diego, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, the Hocking Hills and Denver.
