Dan Whetstone


With more than 21 years as a information systems leader, Dan Whetstone has excelled at all levels of the traditional development life cycle from Developer to Team Leader to Business Analyst and Project/Program Manager. Mr. Whetstone specializes in public utilities and heads up the HMB Energy line of business and has a proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget.

Mr. Whetstone builds collaborative and strategic solution teams between business users and HMB staff. He has extensive knowledge of all facets of project work, including writing and reviewing business requirements, program specifications, overseeing design, development, system testing and deployment. Mr. Whetstone joined HMB in 1995 and was promoted to partner in 2011. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Ohio University.
